The Aputure Lantern can pop open and be ready to use in mere seconds. As filmmakers, you need to move fast, and your lighting shouldn’t get in your way. With the Lantern you’ll be able to produce soft, even light wherever your shoots may take you.

The Lantern for F22 is a lightweight, omnidirectional, soft light modifier that converts the amaran F22x or F22c flexible LED light into a dome-shaped, overhead fixture ideal for illuminating large spaces. The 2.5-stop diffusion cloth softens the light output while minimizing light loss, and the removable hook-and-loop skirt provides directional control and prevents light spill. The modifier weighs just .95Kg and comes with a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport.

Highly compact and portable, the Light Box 45×45 from Aputure is a square-shaped, 45 x 45cm softbox that is ideal for creators, photographers, and filmmakers. This versatile light shaping tool is able to fit in tight spaces while rendering a soft, flattering quality of light. Created to be compatible with a wide array of Aputure and amaran LED lights, the light box includes a Bowens mount speed ring adapter. It can be used with the LS 300d II, LS 300x, COB 60d, COB 60x models as well as with the COB 100/200 series. Useful for all types of content creation, from portrait to product photography, this modifier transforms hard point-source LEDs into simple and effective soft lights.

The softbox comes with 1.5- and 2.5-stop removable diffusers that can be used for softening the light’s output in different levels. For further directional control, a 45° fabric grid is included so you can light specific areas of your subject. Its four-rod design makes it easy to set up and break down. Lightweight at 0.86 kg, it packs flat into the supplied carry bag for on-the-go content creation, livestreaming, and photography.

This 32-sided Light Dome 150 Softbox measures 150cm and is a great choice for portraits, headshots, interviews, fashion, and more. This is a really big light source with true wraparound quality that becomes more pronounced as you bring it closer to your subject. The softbox ships with 1.5- and 2.5-stop diffusers as well as a removable inner diffuser to thwart the hot spot.

There are numerous ways to personalize your light’s output. For the softest light use the two front diffusers and the internal one. Want a little more snap? Take one of the front diffusers off. Still not crisp enough? Take both diffusers off. Use any combination of the diffusers until the light is right for you. The Light Dome’s 31.5″ depth allows for a sharp falloff that will give you the directional control necessary for selective lighting when used with the included fabric grid. Natural-looking catchlights will be reflected in your subject’s eyes and the Bowens-type speed ring included will also fit lights from the many other manufacturers who use this popular mount.
