The Roland UVC-01 USB Video Capture allows you to connect an HDMI source to your computer to integrate the signal into your live streams. Simply connect your HDMI-equipped camera, switcher, game system, or other device to the HDMI input, and then plug the UVC-01 to your computer’s USB port using an included USB cable. The UVC-01 supports up to uncompressed 1080p60 resolution and works plug-and-play with Mac and Windows computers.

With your signal sent to the computer, you can use it in various streaming platforms, such as OBS, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live. You can also use your HDMI camera as a webcam using this device, so that you can capture higher-quality webcam video.

The UVC-01 features an ultra-compact and lightweight design and can easily be incorporated into your setup, and it’s powered from your computer over the USB connection. While it supports embedded HDMI audio on input and output, it also offers a 3.5mm AUX audio input port for connecting independent audio.
