The Large Core Unit will max-out the internal storage of the Action X40, X50, Explore 35 and the Carry-On Roller. It includes all the popular features of our Core Unit system, including EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and internal frame to add extra rigidity and support. The DSLR depth is ideal for mirrorless and DSLR cameras (including gripped bodies) up to 16 cm (6.3 in) tall, and it’s a great solution for multiple bodies and long lenses.
The DV Core Units are made specifically for our Action X70 backpack and DV Roller. The Extra Large size is designed to carry and protect all the DV gear you need, with an extra depth of 20 cm (7.9 in) that makes it ideal for RED or similar-sized cine/video cameras, as well as DSLRs with super telephoto lenses as long as 600mm 4.0. Like all Shimoda Core Units, it is made with our high-quality EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support. The Extra Large DV Core Unit will max-out the interior storage of the X70 backpack and DV Roller, so it is a good choice when maximum gear storage is paramount.

Our Passport Wallet was designed for the traveling photographer. It’s organized, durable and secure to make sure your travel plans stay on schedule.
