The Softlight Kit from Profoto is a softlight reflector kit with four items: the softlight reflector, a honeycomb grid, bag, and a diffuser. The softlight reflector provides soft but directional light suitable for fashion and portrait photography. Of course, it can also be used for numerous lighting applications in architectural, interior design and product photography. The kit includes a honeycomb grid with a 25º beam spread to narrow the light for more precise illumination and a diffuser of 1/3 stop reduction to produce even softer light. The grid clips onto the reflector while the diffuser wraps around and secures itself with a strong elastic band. This reflector is compatible with all Profoto heads, including ProTungsten Air and ProDaylight Air. Use it as an alternative to a softbox.
- Reflector
- Known as the “beauty dish” because it throws directed but soft light, perfect for fashion and soft portrait photography. It offers a 65º light spread and is meant to be placed close to the subject in order to produce “character” lighting.
- Grid
- 25º honeycomb grid controls the light to a more precise location. Not as tight as a spot light but good for producing highlights.
- Diffuser
- The diffuser wraps around the reflector to further soften the light, reducing it by 1/3 stop.

Nanlite Mount Adapter Bowens Mount to FM Mount

Nanlite Parabolic Softbox 55cm FM Mount
The Nanlite SB-MM60 parabolic softbox offers a quality diffused light that will enhance videos, photos etc. features an outer diffusion material and an optional grid to control light spill and give more direction.
This softbox includes a mount specifically designed to fit the Forza FM Mount lights. As of October 2020, the Nanlite SB-FMM60 softbox also includes a Bowens S-mount adaptor ring to allow this softbox to be mounted to the larger range of Forza lights, such as the Forza 200, Forza 300 and Forza 500. To swap the Forza 60 mount ring to use the Bowens mount ring, you will need a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the mount into the softbox.
The SB-FMM60 softbox also includes two outer diffuser options, a lighter “high transmission” diffuser ideal for the Forza 60, 60B and Forza 150, and a more opaque “soft” diffuser better suited to higher output lights such as the Forza 200, 300, and 500.
