It connects to your host Windows, Mac, or Linux system using a USB Type-C port, which operates using the 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard. If your system doesn’t support USB 3.1 Gen 2, there is backward compatibility with other USB standards. Additionally, since the USB Type-C port shares the same interface as Thunderbolt 3, this card reader be directly connected to Thunderbolt 3 ports. To further aid in system connectivity, both a 19.7″ USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter are included.

The D400 Jumbo Grip Head looks like the top of a traditional overhead stand. Commonly referred to as a lollipop this accessory converts combo and universal head stands with a standard 28 mm/1 1/8 inch receiver to an overhead style stand. The D400 has a 28 mm pin that mounts into a 28 mm receiver, a 4 1/2 inch/10 mm grip head and a 28 mm/1 1/8 inch receiver are on top of the pin giving you capability of working like you would when you are using overhead stands.
