SmallRig CINE 4 x 5.65″ White Diffusion 1/4 Filter 4742 is meticulously crafted to meet the high standards of cinematic and video production, catering to users seeking a dreamy, soft film-like texture and enhanced skin tones. Available in 1/8 Stop (ID: 4743) and 1/4 Stop (ID: 4742) variations, this filter meets the standard specifications for achieving desired special effects in cinematic and video production.
Crafted with imported glass material, it features unique multi-layer color correction films to control color bias, nano anti-glare and anti-dirt coatings, and a dual-sided 22-layer coating. This ensures the softening of highlights during video shoots, creating a diffused effect on white highlights for a gentle visual appeal, while maintaining brightness in dark tones. The consistent color reproduction across different grades ensures a cohesive imaging effect closer to natural light color rendition. Carefully adjusted soft light layers provide smooth and rounded transitions at object edges, replicating a cinematic feel.
The meticulously polished edges of the White Diffusion Filter offer advantages such as mold, water, oil, and scratch resistance, facilitating easy cleaning and convenient storage. Designed in a standard 4 x 5.65″ size, this filter is compatible with commonly available 4 x 5.65″ matte boxes in the market.
Note:
1. Exercise caution when using telephoto lenses of 135mm or longer.
2. SmallRig CINE White Diffusion Filter Series is designed to control highlight overflow, to achieve a soft visual effect by spreading highlights, creating a soft overall image.
3. Select the appropriate setting for the White Diffusion Filter based on the desired effect.
