This 15mm LWS rod adapter allows you to mount your Mini and/or Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate to any 15mm LWS rod system to allow you to comfortably attach a V-mount battery to your setup.
The compact design of this adapter and battery plate makes it a perfect solution for mounting a V-Mount battery to a smaller camera body without adding the additional weight traditionally associated with larger battery plates.
This Rod Adapter also allows you to mount the Mini/Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate, horizontally, vertically, or flat against the rods.

1. The plate fits Sony NP-F type batteries to provide greater battery life for your camera rig.
2. It provides different output ports, including a 12V DC output port and a 7.4V DC output port.
3. LED indicator for low battery warning.
4. Rubber pads on the bottom for a more stable installation.

This adapter allows you to adapt a Sony L Series battery plate (such as the one built into the various Z CAM cameras) to a V-mount battery plate.

This allows you to use the much greater battery life of a V-mount battery to power your camera setup, keeping battery swaps to a minimum.

This is also the perfect solution to power smaller accessories that traditionally use lower capacity L Series batteries such as smaller LED Light Panels or external monitors for focus stations.

The Type II version is designed to be more compact to put less stress on the Sony L-Series contact pins, but can interfere with some of the ports on Z CAM camera bodies.

We recommend Type I plates for users who foresee this being an issue.
