The NTG5 is a short, ultra-lightweight shotgun microphone that is ideal for use in the most demanding recording applications. Featuring a revolutionary acoustic design, tightly controlled frequency response, smooth off-axis response, and very low self-noise (just 10dBA), the NTG5 sounds spectacular in a wide variety of applications, particularly location recording and filmmaking scenarios where superlative audio is imperative.

Virtually indestructible, the Rycote Lyre will never sag, snap, wear out or require rethreading to maintain its effectiveness.

The NTG8 has a rich, warm sound and a tightly controlled polar pattern that with excellent directionality even at lower frequencies. It is the perfect microphone in applications where distance mic’ing is required.
