Shimoda Action X50 V2 Starter Kit – Black
The Action X50 V2 is our action and adventure sports workhorse. It’s designed for photographers who need to carry a lot of gear yet still be agile and part of the action. It has quickly become the choice of many professional adventure photographers. The X50 is designed to carry gripped bodies and will comfortably fit most mirrorless and DSLR cameras (up to 6.7 in or 17cm tall) via our DSLR Core Unit series. Its roll-top access allows users to expand or compress the volume to the demands of the day. It features multiple attachment straps, including TPU compression straps for greater durability when attaching skis, and its removable helmet holder lets users secure mountaineering, ski or bike helmets to the outside of their pack. Action X’s interchangeable and adjustable shoulder straps feature two zippered pockets to carry the latest iPhone Pro Max phones, a water bottle, or personal accessories. The Action X25, X30, X40 and X50 feature side camera access and two removable tripod or water bottle pouches that can be moved to the belt location for instant access to key accessories like snacks and lenses, or removed completely to save weight. Two padded sleeves protect laptops and tablets up to 16 inches. Shimoda Booster Strap Set
Shimoda Booster straps were designed to allow users to secure larger loads to the outside of their backpack. They attach by YKK Side-Release Buckles to the existing compression straps and are made of a tacky Hypalon rubberized material, to help keep tripod legs in place and provide extra durability.

The Divider Kit gives you more options when packing and configuring your Core Unit, allowing greater customization and the ability to handle smaller camera kits. A new Pocket Divider lets you carry batteries and other smaller items securely in the Core Unit. Vertical and Horizontal Folding Dividers help with creating tighter space-efficient configurations. As with all Shimoda dividers, they fasten to the Core Unit with our exclusive tapered tabs to make the setup process painless.

Shimoda Drop Pocket
GENEROUS FIT ? A spacious pocket easily holds snacks and sunscreen bottles but is also big enough for 70-200 lenses and 500ml water bottles. Its mesh design also means it will not collect dirt and moisture inside the pocket, keeping it fresh even if you use it for trash items like food wrappers. ATTACHMENTS – The Drop Pocket uses a combination of a large belt loop and 2 side-release buckles. The loop lets it slide on the belt easily while the SR buckles secure it to the belt. VERSATILITY – The Drop Pocket can be used on all Shimoda belts including the HD (X70). When combined with a Toploader and HD Belt, it quickly transforms into a utility belt, easily holding a mounted body and lens with extra lens for a simple yet complete belt setup. Shimoda DSLR Core Unit – Small
MIRRORLESS/DSLR CAMERA FIT – Designed to hold a mirrorless or non-gripped DSLR body with a mounted lens up to 70-200mm F2.8. It can optionally hold 2-3 lenses and accessories.
MODULAR CONFIGURATIONS – Core Units allow for side, rear and top access configurations, and they can be mixed and matched to increase or decrease camera capacity as needed. This system ensures you never carry more padding and weight than absolutely necessary to protect the day?s camera kit, and that all remaining pack space can be dedicated to clothing and personal gear.
LIGHTWEIGHT WATER-RESISTANT & MULTI-PURPOSE SKIN – The included Skin?s primary function is a storage case for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust-free. The Small Skin includes an adjustable strap to use it as a convenient, lightweight shoulder bag for a quick hike out of basecamp or a walk around a new city.
EVA PROTECTIVE SHELL AND DIVIDERS – Walls and dividers are constructed with EVA which ensures much greater protection than cheaper PE foams used in most camera bags. With EVA we have greater control over the density and quality of materials used to protect your gear. It also means our walls can be thinner and use less internal volume while still providing superior protection.
MINIMALIST CONSTRUCTION – The Jersey exterior shell and Tricot lining are laminated to the EVA. By tightening up and simplifying the design in this way, we can eliminate any sloppiness and movement with dividers. The shape of the actual divider tabs has a unique inward taper. This simple concept makes setting up and adjusting the Core Unit much easier by limiting the catching of the fastener and the pulling on the sidewall material.

PRO MIRRORLESS/DSLR CAMERA FIT – Designed to fit mid- to Pro-size camera equipment such as gripped Mirrorless or DSLR bodies with lenses as long as 70-200mm 2.8.
QUICK SIDE CAMERA ACCESS – Integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Action X50 backpack, and it will also fit in every available Shimoda backpack and roller with the exception of the Action X30.
MODULAR STACKING – The Medium DSLR Core Unit V2 Unit allows a user the option to stack a Small Core Unit on top of the Medium — creating a similar volume to a Large insert. By doing this you can have a greater range of owning both Medium and Small Core Units. For example: you have the option of using just the Small Unit, just a Medium Unit, or using both together to equal a Large Core Unit volume.
LIGHTWEIGHT WATER-RESISTANT & MULTI-PURPOSE SKIN – The included Skin?s primary function is a storage case for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust-free. Its secondary function is to use as a packing cell. A user can fill it with clothing or other common items and pack it in their backpack or carry-on roller.

Shimoda DSLR Core Unit V3 – Large
The Large DSLR Core Unit V3 integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Action X40, X50 and Explore 35 backpacks. It will also fit in the X70 backpack, as well as the Carry-On and DV rollers. The Large Core Unit will max-out the internal storage of the Action X40, X50, Explore 35 and the Carry-On Roller. It includes all the popular features of our Core Unit system, including EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and internal frame to add extra rigidity and support. The DSLR depth is ideal for mirrorless and DSLR cameras (including gripped bodies) up to 16 cm (6.3 in) tall, and it’s a great solution for multiple bodies and long lenses.
