Color-Tunable Point Source Fixture
Expanding Aputure‘s line of BLAIR-CG LED chipset lights, the STORM 1000c BLAIR-CG LED Monolight with Wide Reflector is a versatile point-source workhorse offering exceptional brightness while maintaining extremely high color accuracy. It pairs a powerful and innovative full-spectrum chipset with advanced white-point control, professional color accuracy, a secure ProLock accessory mount, and robust, IP65-rated construction for high-end set work under any circumstance. The STORM 1000c comes with a 45° reflector, control box, rolling case, and head and power cables.
BLAIR-CG Light Engine
  • The STORM 1000c’s BLAIR-CG chipset features blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs to deliver higher brightness levels and color accuracy levels.
  • Rated 97 for both CRI and TLCI standards, the light also scores an 88 SSI rating at 3200 and 86 at 5600K color temperatures.
  • Richly saturated colors, including accurate yellow, are possible using 90% of the Rec2020 color space.
  • A calibrated indigo emitter produces white light that more closely matches daylight and tungsten light.

Advanced Dimming and Connectivity

  • The STORM 1000c comes with a controller that enables advanced dimming, control, and functionality.
  • Stepless dimming is available from 0.1 to 100%, and flicker-free, color-accurate operation is possible even at the light’s lowest output.
  • Wired and wireless options offer users a variety of control protocols, including DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, and sACN Ethernet.
  • App controls via Bluetooth and the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps enable you to integrate the light into professional lighting workflows.

  • The STORM 1000c produces an impressive CCT range of 1800 to 20,000K.
  • Tweak the output to eliminate undesired casts using the light’s full ASC MITC 100%+/- green control range.

  • The light features a ProLock Bowens mount, enabling you to securely attach modifiers like Fresnel lenses and spotlight projectors.

Aputure CF12 Fresnel for STORM 1000c and 1200x

Designed for the STORM 1000c and 1200x light fixture, the CF12 Fresnel from Aputure intensifies the light output by up to nine times, producing up to 60,000 lux at 3200K. It focuses the light’s beam spread from a tight 15° to a 45° medium flood with smooth falloff from the center to the edge. Compatible with select other Aputure lights and CF12 barndoors, the CF12 Fresnel has a Bowens ProLock mount and comes with a carrying case that can also fit the separately available barndoors.
