Only 16.1″ when folded yet 64.2″ extended and can support 26.4 lb. The Q2 triple-action ballhead uses an Arca-Swiss style quick release plate and has separate controls for pan lock, drag and friction. Ideal for point & shoot, mirrorless, micro 4/3 and DSLR cameras with larger lenses, the GlobeTrotter can support up to 26.4 lb.

The MeFoto Globetrotter Aluminium Travel Tripod Kit from Benro is a sturdy, compact tripod that extends to 163cm, supports up to 12kg, and folds down to just over 41cm. The GlobeTrotter is actually two camera supports in one: a foam-cushioned, removable leg attaches to the centre column to convert to full-size monopod.

The tripod’s legs can be spread independently with two-position leg angle stops. A spring-loaded ballast hook is located at the bottom of the centre column, allowing a heavy object to hang from it for additional stability.

The Q2 Triple Action Arca-type ball head features separate head and pan locks, a 360° pan index, and an integral bubble level. The included quick-release plate has a 1/4″-20 camera screw and rubberised pads for added traction to prevent the camera from moving and protects the finish from marring.
