Canson Somerset Enhanced Velvet White 330GSM A4 25 Sheets

Somerset Enhanced Velvet White is a mould-made, 100% cotton rag digital fine art paper that is available in 330gsm, 255gsm and 225gsm. Produced at St Cuthberts Mill in England, the artisan papermakers use a traditional cylinder mould to create the look and feel of a handmade paper. St Cuthberts Mill have been making paper since the 1700’s, and today manufacturers the Somerset Enhanced digital fine art range.

The Somerset Enhanced Velvet has a fine grain texture which accentuates the detail in the final image, and the natural white base, which contains no optical brightening agents, adds vibrancy and depth to colour, excellent contrast, and very deep blacks. The proprietary inkjet coating guarantees superb image quality and longevity, which is essential for both limited and open edition digital fine art prints.

Somerset is a traditional printmaking paper which has been used by artists for a range of time-honoured techniques such as intaglio, etching, stone lithography, silkscreen, relief printing and letterpress.
