The CORE+ technology in the 4088 delivers a wide dynamic range and almost completely neutralizes distortion at SPLs up to 133 dB, helping to provide clean, crisp, and natural sonic performance, even on loud stages. In addition, the mic features a 4 to 6 dB soft boost at 15 kHz for added clarity and intelligibility.

The 4088 CORE+ features a double-vent protection system that works in tandem with a drop stopper and water-resistant materials in the mic to help prevent damage from humidity and moisture.
