It extends the fixture’s powering options, so you can easily run the light in the field with an optional NP-F battery. This adapter plate can be installed directly on the light body by simply aligning its metal contacts and inserting it into the fixture’s slot. It also features a DC port for use with an optional 14.8V V-mount battery using an optional cable.
