Required for capturing large originals. This increases the distance between the optical axis of the camera lens and the column base by 80 mm (3.2 in.), if the extension arm is attached between the mount and the camera arm.

For insertion into 4583 compound negative carrier of SYSTEM-V enlargers and for former 4483 and 4493 compound negative carrier.
