The MeFoto Globetrotter Aluminium Travel Tripod Kit from Benro is a sturdy, compact tripod that extends to 163cm, supports up to 12kg, and folds down to just over 41cm. The GlobeTrotter is actually two camera supports in one: a foam-cushioned, removable leg attaches to the centre column to convert to full size monopod.

The tripod’s legs can be spread independently with two-position leg angle stops. A spring-loaded ballast hook is located at the bottom of the centre column, allowing a heavy object to hang from it for additional stability.

The Q2 Triple Action Arca-type ball head features separate head and pan locks, a 360° pan index, and an integral bubble level. The included quick-release plate has a 1/4″-20 camera screw and rubberised pads for added traction to prevent the camera from moving and protects the finish from marring.

It includes an innovative PMM70 convertible phone holder QR plate, to easily switch from camera to phone in a snap, without changing heads or plates. The Arca-type compatible convertible plate mounts in portrait or landscape orientation, allowing quick and easy photography and social content capture in the same setup.
