Engineered for optimal audio clarity in windy conditions, this black Radius Nimbus Windshield is a slide-on windscreen designed to fit the Sanken CS-M1 short shotgun microphone. It’s also compatible with a wide range of microphones, including small-diaphragm and broadcast camera-mounted models with a diameter of 19-22mm.
Crafted from high-quality, acoustic synthetic fur with a porous open-cell foam core, the Nimbus effectively reduces up to 25 dB of wind noise without compromising high-frequency audio. Its specially designed rubber end cap creates a snug fit around the microphone, preventing wind from entering behind the capsule. Unique “pepper pot” holes on the rear end cap enhance acoustic transparency, minimizing polar pattern distortion and delivering exceptional audio clarity.
The Shure A53M shock mount microphone clip consists of an isolation mount and adapter. Attaching to a microphone with a shaft diameter of 20 mm to microphone stands. Shure models with a 20 mm shaft diameter include SM, KSM, Microflex and more. Suited for SM59 SM62 SM63 SM81 SM87
