The Rode VideoMicro is an ultra-compact on-camera microphone designed to improve the audio quality of your videos. Featuring a high-quality cardioid condenser microphone capsule for great quality audio recordings when used with your compatible camera.

Reduce distracting peripheral sounds and focus on the audio in front of the camera with the VideoMicro directional microphone from RODE. With a more forgiving pickup than other on-camera microphones, providing you with a more natural sound for recording indoors. Perfect for capturing incredible audio to accompany inspiring vision.

With an aluminum microphone body and high-grade ceramic anti-glare coating. You can expect a high level of RF rejection. Included with the Rode VideoMicro is a camera shoe mount featuring a Rycote Lyre shock mount. Featuring a suspension structure composed of a hard-wearing thermoplastic. Far more effective at minimizing unwanted vibrations, handling and cable-borne noise than traditional elastic suspensions. Virtually indestructible, the Rycote Lyre will never sag, snap, wear out or require rethreading to maintain its effectiveness.

Also includes a WS9 synthetic furry windshield with foam inner cell, designed for use in outdoor scenarios where wind and environmental noise can inhibit recordings. Optionally available is the RØDE SC7, a TRS to TRRS cable that allows you to use your Rode VideoMicro microphone with smartphones, to capture crystal clear, directional sound for video and video applications such as Periscope.

The NTG1 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, designed for professional applications in film, video, television and broadcast. Its full frequency response, low noise and transparency make it ideal in a range of applications, including filmmaking, voice-over and streaming, while its low weight (105 grams) makes it an ideal boom microphone. It also features a switchable high-pass filter for added flexibility.
