The Vari-Lite VL5LED WASH is a true modern update to the legendary VL5. This compact, high output LED wash fixture brings a host of modern features to the familiar form factor of this unique fixture. The Dichro*fusion blades, first seen in the VL6500 WASH, supply smooth, variable diffusion while the RGBALC color system provides a wide range of rich color options. To simplify setup and programming of this color system, the innovative SmartColor Control System gives designers adjustability without complexity. The beautiful colors of the VL5LED are reflected on the Dichro*fusion blades, which bring the vintage stylings of the original VL5 to create a strong visual element on stage. For further visual options, a separate ring of LEDs light up the Dichro*fusion blades a different color than the light coming from source engine. The LED blade lights, along with an onboard motorized zoom, offers a range of new visual options and bring more flexibility to this classic fixture.
The VL800 EVENTWASH is mid-sized LED wash moving head fixture that is extremely compact and powerful. This fast-moving wash is built with the DNA of Vari-Lite, offering full RGBW color mixing and 7 individually controllable LEDs for easy split colors or pixel mapping applications. With controllable dimming and motorized zoom, this fixture moves and feels like a Vari-Lite, providing valuable features in a cost-effective mid-sized moving head.
This fixture offers a proprietary optical system consisting of a wide dial of 37 lenses in PMMA, 384 mm in diameter, combined with 37 glass light guides with an output surface made of an optical micro-structure. This LED/optical system combination can produce powerful light output of 25,000 lumens and a perfectly homogeneous mixture of pastel and saturated colours, regardless of the colour mix chosen.
