Protect and mount a variety of accessories onto your Sony FX3 or FX30 camera with this lightweight 4183B Camera Cage from SmallRig. This formfitting aluminum cage maintains access to the camera’s controls and features a variety of mounting options. The 4183B version of the cage features an HDMI cable clamp constructed of PC and fiber for a lighter form factor. The camera mounts onto the cage using 1/4″-20 screws on the bottom and the side to prevent twisting, and rubber padding on the base protects the camera.

In addition to a shoe mount, a removable NATO rail, and multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 accessory threads, the cage features ARRI-style accessory mounts for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. The cage also features an integrated Arca-style base that allows you to use standard Arca-style tripod heads and gimbal mounts. There are strap slots on either side of the cage to add a camera strap. A built-in screwdriver on the bottom allows you to secure the camera screws.

The included NATO rail must be removed for use with the original Sony XLR handle.
