Plus, this nifty tripod with fluid video head works with even awkward interchangeable lens cameras, and supports wider HDSLR bodies. It has a pre-set counterbalance of up to 2.4kg, but can support up to 5kg, giving you all the strength you need in a photo head. Not only that, it comes complete with its very own carry case, so you can pack things away in a jiffy at the end of the day.

This essential tripod with fluid video head even comes with a 9.5mm connector to easily pair with accessories, like an external monitor. It’s a more compact and lighter version that finally comes with flat base (base diameter 75 mm), developed to meet the needs of the most demanding videographers.

The head is made from a brand-new catching aluminium design, and has a maximum payload of 12kg.

Utilising Manfrotto’s new fluid technology, the camera head allows you to capture judder-free smooth motion pans and tilts. It’s never been easier for the operator to create premium-quality video capture, thanks to a 4-step counterbalance system which can carry payloads of up to 6.5 kg at 55mm C.0.G. That makes using a wide range of different cameras easier and more practical.

Two easy link 3/8” thread connections allow an external monitor or other accessory equipment to be fitted on the head side. On the left side there is a cap cover on the 3/8” easy link connector to avoid cutting during usage.

The sliding-plate side-lock attachment enables quicker set up of the camera, keeping video equipment stable and balanced. Head leveling is simple thanks to the clever backlit levelling bubble.

The reverse folding tripod legs allow the tripod to be compact for travel and the flat base S2PRO video head is removable. The centre column includes a levelling adapter so that the head can be levelled independently without having to adjust the tripod legs.

In addition to being a tripod, one of the legs can be unthreaded and joined with the centre column to become a fully functioning video monopod. The S2PRO is a removable flat base fluid effect video head with both pan (left to right) and tilt (up & down) controls for smooth and precise camera movements. The S2PRO video head is equipped with a sliding quick release plate and safety stop, which enables perfect camera balance and speedy set-up and removal of your camera. The unique levelling column provides fast and accurate levelling, a necessity to keep your horizons straight and level during horizontal pans. The integrated bubble level assures perfect alignment.
