SmallRig mini Ball-Head Mounting Support Kit with Removable Cold Shoe (2pcs) 2948B is designed to attach video accessories to the camera, such as microphones, LED lights, monitors, action cameras, etc. It can be mounted onto the camera’s hot shoe or the cold shoe of the cage or handle via the bottom cold shoe, with one 1/4″-20 screw on the top to attach accessories and then locked by a knob. The ball head is capable of 360degpanning and 135degtilting and has a load capacity of 1.5kg. The bottom locking plate features built-in slots that allow it to be secured with an Allen Wrench to ensure safety. The ball head features a 1/4 -20 female thread on the bottom enabling the user to attach a mini tripod after removing the cold shoe adapter. The ball head is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around, weighs only 47g.

These 300mm (11.8”) long Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all SYMPLA rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly.
Rods can be united to make longer tracks (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. Although the possible uses are numerous, these long Rods primarily serve as the track for SYMPLA Fixed or Variable Plates, since the extra length allows a wide range of camera and lens (and viewfinder) combinations to be correctly positioned for the operator and for other SYMPLA components, such as the Flexible Mattebox.
Made in 15mm (0.59”) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 300mm Rods are the longer of SYMPLA’s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13UNC screw junctions included.
