Tilta Camera Cage for Canon R5C Basic Kit – Black

This Camera Cage offers enhanced protection for the Canon R5C while expanding mounting options for various camera accessories.
The cage features an ARRI Rosette Connection, two cold shoe receivers, and NATO Rail connections on the top and left side of the cage.
These connections are perfect options for mounting any of our optional Type IV/VI Side Handles or our Compact NATO Top Handle.
The cage also features multiple ¼”-20 mounting points with locating pins, several M3 threads, and integrated slots for a shoulder strap.
The included Quick Release Top Handle can mount to the cold shoe receiver found on the top of the cage and provides a convenient way to handle the camera and achieve low angle shots.
The handle itself provides several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points as well as two cold shoe receivers on the front and back of the handle.
A 15mm horizontal rod mount is built into the handle to allow for various rigging possibilities such as mounting an EVF or external monitor via a 15mm rod.
The optional Adjustable Top Handle can be attached to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical shooting configurations.
The cage connects to your camera body via a ¼”-20 screw and utilizes an additional point of contact via a locating pin in order to prevent the camera from moving within the cage.
The built in silicone cushion helps hold the camera body in place while protecting it from any scratches that could be caused by the cage.
The base of the cage also provides a couple mounting options for securing the system to different quick release plates and natively supports our Smart V Mount Battery Baseplate and LWS Baseplate Type IV.
The bottom plate allows you to easily access the battery compartment and also includes a slot for an included magnetic screwdriver.
The included Clamp Attachment connects to the side of the cage and allows you to secure the included HDMI to Micro HDMI Adapter and an optional USB-C Cable.
This accessory will help prevent these cables from coming loose when shooting and will provide additional protection for the ports on your camera body.
This can be specifically helpful when using an external recorder as a loose cable could very possibly ruin a take if accidentally disconnected.
The included Lens Mount Support Bracket attaches to the front of the cage via M3 screws and provides additional support for an RF to EF Lens Mount Adapter.
This provides an additional point of contact between your cage and lens adapter which helps create a more secure connection and limits any shifts in the image that could be caused by follow focus systems.
