Custom-machined from lightweight yet durable aluminum, the cage contains a hidden silicone protection pad to mitigate shock and scratches from the occasional accident. Because it is specifically designed for use with the R8, the cage features cutout sections to maintain access to all the necessary ports and buttons, including a slot for dummy battery cables.
