The aluminum and stainless steel cage maintains access to the camera’s controls while offering protection and accessory mounting. Use the half cage to attach accessories such as a light, monitor, microphone, or handle using the integrated top shoe mount, side NATO rail, and multiple anti-twist 1/4″-20 mounting threads. The Canon R6 Mark II half cage also features an Arca-type plate on the bottom and a detachable HDMI/USB-C cable clamp.
