The Hydra Alien Car Mounting System was designed from the ground up to be the perfect lightweight solution for car-mounted cinematography and this new Shock Absorbing Head takes that one step further.

This updated Shock Absorbing Head features an updated Soft Spring Module which is specifically designed to support lighter weight gimbals and cameras in underslung configurations.

The softer springs will not require as much weight to properly absorb vibrations which will lead to more stabile footage and  greatly expand lightweight mounting options for the system.

We still recommend using additional counter weight on the Shock Absorbing Arm as it will perform better with heavier payloads.

NOTE: This Shock Absorbing Head is NOT recommended to use in upright configurations
