The Tilta Universal Battery Plate in V-Mount allows powering your camera and onboard accessories from a single V-mount battery. The battery plate attaches to your camera cage or 15mm rail system. The plate passes through your battery’s power to five 14.8V D-Tap outputs, one 14.8V 2-pin LEMO-type output, and one 14.8V 3-pin Fischer output. The plate also features one BNC SDI input and two BNC SDI outputs. The plate attaches to your camera, cage, or rig using the included 15mm LWS adapter and clamp.

1. The plate utilizing a standard V mount fits most V mount batteries to provide greater battery life for your camera rig with your battery’s power port(s).2. It comes with a belt clip that helps hang a V mount battery on a waist belt, a backpack shoulder strap, etc. to reduce your camera rig’s weight.3. Anti-off design on the edge of the belt clip helps catch the belt’s bottom if forces pull it up to prevent it from falling off.4. The plate itself features multiple 1/4-20″ countersinks, 1/4-20″ thread holes, and M4 thread holes to attach a dual rod clamp, a magic arm, or other accessories.5. The Tilta L Series Battery Plate is a fantastic lightweight option for powering your camera or accessories via Sony L-Series Batteries.
The Battery Plate conveniently mounts to your camera cage via a 1/4″-20 screw with locating pins, that can be secured with a flat head screwdriver or by hand.
Paired with a silicone pad on the back, this plate has an incredibly secure connection which prevents the plate from rotating.
The Plate features several power output options such as USB-A (5V/2.1A), DC Out (8V/3A), USB-C In/Out (18W PD), and DC Out (12V/2A).
The USB-C port is especially useful as it supports dual directional power for input and output.
This allows you to power accessories via USB-C PD, as well as charge Sony L-Series Batteries while they are connected to the plate.
The design does not limit the size or brand of the battery, meaning this plate is compatible with a wide range of L-Series sizes and brands.
The Battery Indicator on the unit will provide battery life information and let you know the charging status when charging the battery via the USB-C port.
This adapter allows you to adapt a Sony L Series battery plate (such as the one built into the various Z CAM cameras) to a V-mount battery plate.
This allows you to use the much greater battery life of a V-mount battery to power your camera setup, keeping battery swaps to a minimum.
This is also the perfect solution to power smaller accessories that traditionally use lower capacity L Series batteries such as smaller LED Light Panels or external monitors for focus stations.
The Type II version is designed to be more compact to put less stress on the Sony L-Series contact pins, but can interfere with some of the ports on Z CAM camera bodies.
We recommend Type I plates for users who foresee this being an issue.
