Aputure Amaran Ray 360c

The Light Storm 1200d Pro is the flagship Light Storm product and the brightest fixture in the Aputure and Light Storm line-up. It utilizes a 1200W Daylight COB chipset to compete on the same level as industry-standard HMI Lights, with a staggering 83,100+ lux output at 3 meters with the Hyper Reflector (Narrow).

The LS 1200d Pro is the first and only Bowens Mount LED on the market with a 1200W COB, making it the highest output LED fixture compatible with Bowens Mount modifiers like Aputure Light Dome soft boxes and Lanterns. the LS 1200d Pro can also be accompanied by Bowens Mount soft boxes made by manufacturers such as DoPchoice and Chimera Lighting.

To adapt the output and beam angle of the Light Storm 1200d Pro to your shooting scenario, the 1200d Pro kit includes 3 different Hyper Reflectors optimized for the size of it’s COB.

With exceptional colour accuracy measurements of CRI ≥96, TLCI ≥98, CQS≥95, and SSI (D56) ≥73, the 1200d Pro provides consistently accurate light quality for all filmmakers.

Lishuai 50D Micro moonlight system.

The 50D is tiny but packs a punch.  It uses a Taiwan manufactured LED COB chip that allows the highest quality of light but with industry best resistance to light falloff over the life of the head.  Output is 9700 LUX at 1 metre with a standard reflector.  Amazing Value for money and Quality from a brand that is used widely in TV studio’s around the world.  Lishuai lights are used by many Australian broadcasters, at events such at the AFL, Tennis and recent winter olympics.

The 50D can be run from two optional NPF style batteries with a holder as well as the included 240 volt power pack.  It uses its own proprietary mount but also includes a Bowens adaptor for attaching the huge range of accessories available for this mount style.

The FS-200 LED from NanLite is a monolight style light fixture with remarkable light output relative to its size.

The Nanlite FS-200 LED light uses the industry-standard Bowens light modifiers, making it easy to soften or focus the light, to provide a wide range of lighting effects. The ability to shape the light makes the FS-200 ideal for portraiture, product photography, and in-house video production.

How bright are they?

In our tests using a pair of FS-200’s in the Nanlite 60 x 90cm softbox, we were able to shoot a single person portrait with the following camera settings F8, 1/125s, ISO 1000. For a group portrait, where the lights further from the subjects, we were able to shoot a group of 4 standing side-by-side with the following camera settings F8, 1/125s, ISO 1250.
