Aputure unveils the high-performance NOVA II 1×1 Tunable Color LED Light Panel as a 500W LED solution for cinematographers, gaffers, and lighting technicians in need of precision and power in a more compact body. Find the same color accuracy and the professional features of the larger NOVA II 2×1 in a smaller form factor that keeps a weather-sealed design. At its core lies the Aputure BLAIR-CG chipset that makes the NOVA II 1×1 a versatile full-color LED panel for professional film, television, and broadcast lighting environments. The light uses high CRI-, TLCI-, TM-30-, SSI-, and CQS-rated LEDs to render colors with optimal accuracy. Color is widely variable from 1800 to 20,000K, meaning you can take creative control of the color range, along with plus/minus green shift, to achieve great color precision.

Among the NOVA II 1×1’s features is reliable and advanced control. Users can opt for the intuitive onboard or app control, or go with 16-bit DMX512 in/out, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN, as well as USB or DMX batch firmware upgrades. Experience multiple dimming curves, four fan modes, and dual output modes with max and constant settings. Another fact that will impress gaffers and lighting technicians is a QuickClip front-mounting accessory ecosystem that reduces the complexity of mounting slide-in modifiers by providing a quicker light-shaping solution. Finally, a rugged IP65-rated body was attentively engineered for the most demanding productions. The NOVA II 1×1 has a native 35° beam angle with a brightness of 108,200 lux at 3.3′ and 5600K, 13,300 lux at 9.8′, or up to 2466 lux using the included flat diffuser at the same distance. It features smooth stepless dimming for adjusting light output from 0.1 to 100% with four dimming curves: linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-shaped. This 16 x 15.4″ LED panel is actively fan-cooled and offers four DMX-controllable fan modes: smart, high, medium, and silent.

Impressive Color Accuracy

Industry-leading fidelity metrics and high color accuracy ratings ensure the NOVA II 1×1’s ability to faithfully reproduce colors. With CRI 95, TLCI 95, TM-30 Rf 95, and Rg 100 ratings, the fixture ensures natural and lifelike rendering that’s ideal for color-critical applications.
