The Orbiter 25deg Projection Optic from ARRI allow for the crisp projection of a light spot, as well as gobo projection and precise shutter cuts. It has no visible hot spot or drop to the edge and features a standard iris slot. Thanks to the LiOS 2 operating system, the focus can be controlled locally via Orbiter’s Control Panel, or remotely by DMX/RDM or IP based (ArtNet or sACN). Once set, the focus is kept in place and not subverted by locking the lens tube into place. A standard B-size metal or glass gobo can also be added. The genuine ARRI gobo holder is made to keep the gobo securely in place and the produced gobo pattern is clearly visible. Any focus adjustment between gobo and shutter is barely necessary; focus adjustment between gobo and open gate is not necessary at all. Additional ARRI accessories like a snoot or color filter frames can be added in front enabling fine-tuning when needed. The Amaran 100x is a bi-color point-source LED fixture with stunning brightness, flexible color temperature control and wireless Bluetooth app control. By using the latest COB technology from Amaran, the 100x is able to output up to 34,300 lux at 1 meter using the 55° Hyper-Reflector while remaining incredibly compact. The 100x also boasts CRI & TLCI scores of 95+ for immaculate color quality. The Amaran 100x also features a Bowens Mount for is compatibility with a wide universe of accessories. The Amaran 100x is equipped with Sidus Mesh® technology, forming a network with other Sidus compatible lights, allowing users to precisely control the fixture from nearly any smartphone or tablet using the Sidus Link® mobile app.
Nanlite Forza 60 LED is a super small powerhouse of a light. Its versatility is fantastic when output and size is considered. Offering a monolight form factor with a micro ecosystem of equally small and convenient add on accessories. Weight is only .8 kg and about the size of a coffee mug, but it still can offer an output that reaches 6732 Lumens (11950 Lux 5600K @ 1 metre), CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 95. Control of this daylight 5600K light is provided in 1% increments, with a range of additional special effects built in. WiFi app control is inbuilt with the use of Nanlite’s WiFi router as well as a simple remote control that can address hundreds of single units (available separately).
Lishuai 50D Micro moonlight system.
The 50D is tiny but packs a punch. It uses a Taiwan manufactured LED COB chip that allows the highest quality of light but with industry best resistance to light falloff over the life of the head. Output is 9700 LUX at 1 metre with a standard reflector. Amazing Value for money and Quality from a brand that is used widely in TV studio’s around the world. The 50D can be run from two optional NPF style batteries with a holder as well as the included 240 volt power pack. It uses its own proprietary mount but also includes a Bowens adaptor for attaching the huge range of accessories available for this mount style.
At just 5.7 x 3.5 x 3.5″ the compact ML60 LED Light has a host of advanced features “under the hood.” The light sports a 5600K colour temperature – ideal for shooting outdoors, in a large place dominated by windows, or to seamlessly blend with other daylight-balanced fixtures. A high CRI rating of CRI/TLCI: 96/97 is ample evidence of advanced capability in rendering colour. The ML60 dims from 0 to 100% and it has a 32-channel, 16-group receiver that allows you to adjust the light’s dimming level and on/off functions. You can manage these locally on the fixture or wirelessly at a distance with a separately-purchased controller. The light even has eight lighting effects including lightning, flash, conference, paparazzi, TV, and broken bulb.
Made with run-and-gun shooting in mind the ML60 has a removable handle as well as an umbrella socket. Ready for worldwide use, the ML60 runs on 100 to 240V, thanks to the included AC adapter, but it will also run on two NP-F970 batteries when AC power is unavailable. Godox has included a carrying case for storage and transport.
