The Avenger B7057FF Long John Silver Stand is the largest stand in the Avenger offering! A heavy-duty stand used primarily for cine applications capable of supporting maximum payloads up to 120 kg/264 lbs up to a height of 570 cm/224.4 in. The winch driven hoisting system allows for easy lifting and lowering of large panel lights and HMI’s. The stand includes foam filled braked wheels, 3 built-in levelling legs and swift-lift gas pistons providing the ultimate ease of set-up and take down. The Avenger B6030CS in chrome steel is a great wind up stand capable of easily lifting and lowering loads of 30 kg/66.1 lbs with its 3 sections and 2 risers up to heights of 296 cm/116.5 in and as low as 153 cm/60.2 in. The built in combo head with a 28 mm/ 1 1/8 in receiver and 16 mm/ 5/8 in retractable baby spigot provides universal connectivity for lights, booms and modifiers. This wind up stand is able to easily lift and lower loads using a unique 4 cable system. One cable up, one cable down and 2 cables are used for additional safety to keep lighting loads secure and safe. The Avenger B6029X Super Wind Up stand with wheels is built with a stainless-steel column, stainless-steel legs, chrome steel risers and geared column. The B6029X is constructed of 3 sections and 2 risers which extend simultaneously at 4.4 cm per handle turn. The top tube houses a junior socket which is 28 mm/1 1/8 in and also has a built in ring to add tie downs or wind brace kits.
An internal safety cable system ensures simultaneous retrieval of all sections. The B6029X also features a rapid and fine adjustment leveling leg and braked foam filled wheels (code 474) for easy rolling (with no memory) even on the most challenging terrain. It has a maximum payload of 80 kg/176.4 lbs and can raise up to 290 cm/114.2 in.
It also features 1 step on the column to make easy adjustments when loaded. The Avenger B150P-1 Strato Safe Crank Up Stand is a beast of a stand with exceptional performance and uses rubber filled wheels (B9000P) for better movement over different types of terrain. This stand has a humorous industry nickname and it is used commonly by grips and gaffers worldwide. It is built in Chrome Steel and Gravity Cast aluminium, comprising of 4 Risers and 5 sections. This stand surpasses industry requirements for safe operation and is part of the Strato Safe family that can lift heavy loads up to 100 kg/220 lbs. Each section uses a uniquely designed gear box that uses a ratchet crank handle to safely raise each riser into place. The ratchet crank handle can conveniently be stored to the top casting of the stand and is always available when needed. Rubber filled braked wheels are sold with this stand and allow for easy moving in studio and across many different terrains.
