Wing offers 8 Midas PRO mic preamps and features eight XLR outputs as well as eight 1/4″ auxiliary inputs and outputs. Thankfully, the number of I/O can be expanded with three AES50 SuperMAC ports, the StageCONNECT port, and optional expansion cards for audio interfaces, digital network bridges, MADI, and ADAT/WC. There are five variable plug-in processing slots for all 40 stereo input channels. Each slot can host plug-ins based on iconic vintage analog equalizers and compressors, plus insert FX slot and 4-band parametric EQ for all 8 stereo aux channels.
