With the ArcaSmart Sidearm Camera Mount & Smartphone Clamp from Benro, you have the option of purely mobile filmmaking or adding a phone as a sidekick to your traditional DSLR setup. The mounting plate can connect to a tripod via an Arca-Swiss style quick release clamp, or the 1/4″-20 threaded female connection. Once attached, the sidearm’s clamps can be unfolded to hold your smartphone. Attach a DSLR camera to the plate and use the phone as a monitor or additional filming, or shoot exclusively with your smartphone.

Camera & Sidearm Adjustment
When attaching your camera, the integrated 1/4″-20 screw can slide along a track, letting you move the sidearm closer or farther from the camera. The screw can be tightened with a screwdriver, coin, or by hand using the built-in flip-up turning handle. The sidearm itself has the ability to rotate between vertical and landscape orientations.
Attach Accessories
Each sidearm phone clamp has a built-in cold shoe for optional accessories, such as an external microphone, receiver or LED illuminator.
Folding Design
The phone clamps, swingarm and mounting plate all fold together in a compact, flat configuration that makes the whole set easy to store in a gear bag or tuck into your pocket.
