After the successful release of the original STABIL Easyrig noticed an increasing demand for a similar solution for the Minimax system. Easyrig are now proud to present the latest addition to the Easyrig lineup; the STABIL Light.
The STABIL Light was developed to support gimbals between 2-7kg (4.4-15.4 lbs). It will help stabilize handheld shots to a certain degree while protecting your back. This enables you to operate the gimbal and camera for much longer periods of time. It can be locked in 90 degrees to function as a “normal” Minimax upper arm.
To upgrade you need to purchase the STABIL Light together with the new Minimax Power Pack. It includes a spring that synergizes better with the STABIL Light. The new power pack is now standard for all versions of the Minimax.
A Minimax with STABIL Light still fits in the same bag as the original Minimax.

The 396 family has been developed to provide greater robustness than the 196 range and to support heavier loads (upto 5kg), though keeping versatility thanks to its extendable sliding arm system (extends upto 625mm), further enhanced by its quick lock system. The new bottom attachment adds to the strength and versatility of the 396, with a spigot that combines both a hexagonal part (for anti-rotation fixing to the Superclamp system) and a universal adapter section (for fitting to a wide range of stands, clamps and accessories).
