Comprised of a vice clamp, 360-degree rotating ball head, and a polymer cold shoe mount this a truly versatile lighting instrument that lets you attach any shoe mount flash or light to any surface up to 2.2in wide. Small and lightweight, yet durable, the anodized aluminium and stainless steel construction ensure that your gear is mounted properly, and a modifier holder is built into the ball head mount to allow you to use your existing light shaping tools like umbrellas, reflectors or diffusers.

These 300mm (11.8”) long Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all SYMPLA rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly.
Rods can be united to make longer tracks (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. Although the possible uses are numerous, these long Rods primarily serve as the track for SYMPLA Fixed or Variable Plates, since the extra length allows a wide range of camera and lens (and viewfinder) combinations to be correctly positioned for the operator and for other SYMPLA components, such as the Flexible Mattebox.
Made in 15mm (0.59”) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 300mm Rods are the longer of SYMPLA’s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13UNC screw junctions included.

1. It includes 2pcs of the cold shoe, and it could attach camera accessories with 1/4″-20 and M2.5 threads, such as cage, cold shoe block, and so on.
2. It enables the mounting of on-camera lights, shoe handles, microphones,s and more for additional attachment.
3. The counterbore hole in the center is attachable to the 1/4’’-20 screw, but the 1/4’’-20 screw will not touch the hot shoe contact of accessories mounted on the cold shoe.
4. There comes with two secure bending bevels on one end to prevent accidental removal.
