Ideal for location sound professionals seeking an all-in-one noise-reducing solution, the Mini-ALTO 180 and RAD 2 Kit from Radius provides users with one Mini-ALTO blimp-style magnetic windshield and one RAD-2 shockmount for boom poles. Designed to fit most microphone types from 3.7 to 6.3″ in length, this kit ensures up to -40 dB of wind noise reduction indoors or outdoors.

This versatile kit includes a removable fur cover, four pairs of suspension hoops for the RAD-2 with different levels of firmness, a smiley face adapter, a magnetic windshield holder with a carabiner clip, a pair of RAD cable straps, and a 3-pin XLR jumper cable.

Mini-ALTO Windshield
The Mini-ALTO has been designed to be fast and easy-to-use with almost all small condenser, short shotgun and standard shotgun sized microphones. With a diameter of just 85mm, the Mini-ALTO is the smallest full-coverage zeppelin windshield available in the professional audio recording industry. Even at this size, the Mini-ALTO will achieve wind reduction up to -40 dB with its included fur cover, which is comparable to larger pill-shaped windshields.
RAD-2 Shockmount
The RAD-2 shockmount provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise, and other vibrations associated with boom pole use. The mount has a soft-coated universal mic clip and all components are produced using virtually indestructible thermoplastic elastomers from high-precision injection molding in an ISO-9000 certified factory in England. This shockmount also comes with a 360° rotatable XLR holder.
