TecArt Main/Backup Switcher Rack Mount DMX 8 in 4 out
The TecArt Main/Backup Switcher is primarily used for main and backup consoles. The unit automatically detects incoming DMX512, and automatically switches to the backup DMX streams as soon as the main inputs are disconnected or lost.
The TecArt Main/Backup Switcher can also be used to connect an external console to a live DMX network and will automatically switch over to take control.
The unit is available with up to 4 main DMX streams and 4 backup DMX streams. The inputs are connected via front panel XLR connectors and the output connectors are on the rear of the unit. Each input/output has a separate power supply and is electrically isolated to ensure the highest possible level of protection.

The TecArt Manual Switcher is used to switch between two lighting desks, with up to 4 DMX universes for each desk. The inputs are connected via front panel XLR connectors and the output connectors are on the rear of the unit. The Chauvet DJ DMX-AN2 is a multi-purpose Art-Net/sACN node that converts 1 Ethernet cable to 2 DMX universes. Its optical and electrical isolation is ready for any situation and the durable Neutrik® etherCON® in/through port ensures reliability. The built-in web-based GUI means no universe/subnet setup. DMX-AN2 automatically redirects the web page if the IP address is changed. The unit supports Power over Ethernet (POE) or an external power supply. Both outputs can be set to either Art-Net or sACN and DMX-AN2 functions as an Art-Net to DMX or DMX to Art-Net interface.
