The D-TS is a Universal Hot-Swap battery mount, it allows the user to hot-swap a fresh battery while still operating equipment, so you can remove the depleted battery while the leaving the other battery connected so that there is no downtime.
Utilising the V-Lock mounting system, it can be attached to any portable device with an existing battery bracket.

The optional Blackmagic Pocket Battery Grip lets you replace the camera’s standard LP‑E6 battery with two L‑series batteries so you can shoot for over 2 hours on a single charge! That’s a massive battery life, in a design that integrates with the camera itself and can be used as a single unit. Featuring a unique carbon fiber design, non‑slip hand grips, and a slide out tray that holds 2 L‑series batteries, the Pocket Battery Grip also makes it easier to hold the camera on longer shoots because it increases the grip area of the handle. You can also charge the batteries in the grip via the camera’s 12V DC power connection in between takes!

The Blackmagic Pocket Camera Battery Pro Grip adds two extra NP-F570 batteries to the 6K G2 and 6K Pro for over 3 hours of shooting on a single charge. That’s a massive battery life, in a compact design that integrates seamlessly with the camera. Featuring a unique carbon fiber design, non‑slip hand grips, and a slide out tray, the battery grip makes long shoots easier because it gives you more to hold onto. You can view the status of the grip’s batteries on the touchscreen display, and charge the batteries via the camera’s 12V DC power connection in between takes!
