Vinyl is very easy to keep clean and is UV light resistant. The matte finish gives you a gloss free background and produces pure white if it is illuminated the right way. This makes this background suitable for portraits, but also for example for product photography. The Vinyl background comes on a firm core, so when hanging it remains straight and hence is suitable for all background systems. Furthermore this background is very easy to clean. The thickness of the vinyl is about 0.37 mm.

Please Note Vinyl is heavy and hence we recommend you use an EXPAN support system. An EXPAN system will control the unrolling of the vinyl, which is safer and will reduce the likelihood of the material coming away from the core when fully extended. A Background stand system can be used but you will have no control of the speed of the unrolling so it is not our recommendation.
We have EXPAN roller systems to mount 3 rolls of vinyl or paper on the wall. We also have a portable paper drive system and mount brackets to mount on light stands. These both use a chain to raise and lower the vinyl on the roll.
We also have a motorised wall mount paper drive system with remote control to raise and lower the vinyl.
